Not only do we feel a sense of responsibility for the continuity of our company and for the well-being of our employees, but we also feel responsible for the impact we have on our environment, both locally and globally. Though concepts such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Climate Neutral … and so on are widely discussed nowadays, we prefer to maintain our own honest, practical approach when it comes to sustainability, in all of its relevant facets. You could say that as a company that has already existed for 150 years, sustainability is something that comes naturally for us. Our business statement ‘Let’s work together’ not only underpins all of the solutions that we supply in the form of our products, but when viewed in conjunction with the three P’s of People, Planet and Profit, it actually forms part of an integrated whole!

‘Let’s work together to make workwear and protective wear that fit the job perfectly!’  We constantly strive to provide solutions that are perfect. Exactly the right quality for the right situation and at exactly the right price! The only logical choice for any job you could care to think of. Nothing more, but certainly nothing less.

With our 150 years of experience, we know like no other that perfect solutions can only be achieved by means of close collaboration with our own employees, our customers, our suppliers and, last but not least, with the (end)users of our products. Having achieved certification to ISO-9001:2000, we are in a position to ensure the consistency of our quality, as well as to provide the continual improvement that is essential.
 

People

At Van Puijenbroek Textiel, around 400 people work day-in, day-out in order to produce the best industrial clothing, as well as to ensure that all of our products are delivered on time. In order to achieve this, our people play a crucial role. And it goes without saying that our employees themselves wear the most suitable industrial clothing. But our responsibility with regard to personal protection extends far beyond industrial clothing alone. By using a system of Risk Identification and Assessment, we are constantly improving the safety and the working conditions of our employees. We also do everything we can to encourage our employees to follow a programme of personal, competence-based development. At our workshops in Tunisia and Macedonia, around 1000 people are employed directly or indirectly in the production of our ready-to-wear clothing and it was in order to check and improve working conditions at those locations that we became members of the Fair Trade Foundation. Every year, Van Puijenbroek Textiel also draws up a social annual report.

Planet

In its Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policy, Van Puijenbroek Textiel has laid down the principles of its approach with regard to Quality, Health and Safety and the Environment. Each year, the company draws up an environmental report, detailing the effects of its operations upon the environment and the status of projects intended to reduce any undesirable effects. In sourcing our partners and suppliers, we also require them to have implemented verifiable and responsible methods of production. Quality assurance and certification play an essential role and will continue to do so in the future. In this way, we are able to ensure our customers that the products they purchase have been manufactured using methods that are respectful towards our planet. Our care is your benefit

Profit

Van Puijenbroek Textiel drew up its first invoice on 21 May 1865. From that day on, our company and its employees have been supplying products to meet our customers' needs, and the experience we have gained over the years and are still gaining today have enabled us to develop a reputation as a solid and reliable business partner. We provide our customers with products that combine proven and consistent quality with a long service life and good price-quality ratio, all backed up by the level of service our customers have come to expect.
